Academic WorldQuest 2014 Champions
Academic WorldQuest 2014 took place on  Saturday, January 18, 2014  at Wilbraham & Monson Academy.  Eight four-student teams representing Springfield-area high schools participated.  Wilbraham & Monson Academy emerged as the winner, with Longmeadow High School taking second place and Renaissance–2013 champs–tied with Springfield Central High School for third.  WMA will go on to compete nationally at the national competition in April hosted by the World Affairs Councils of America in Washington, DC.   The topics were:

    •       U.S. Education
    •       UN Millennium Goal 1: Eradicate Extreme Poverty & Hunger
